About

Shimla

A journey to Spiti Valley is a glimpse of abandoned white beauty as distinctive as its name! The Himalayan province of Spiti is an additional portion of Tibet stranded in India, separated from lush Lahaul by the rising 4551m Kunzum La.

While this region is sealed off from the remainder of the world from October to February, you may visit Spiti via Shimla from December to May to enjoy the snow-clad panoramas of this beautiful chilly desert. That is the focus of our Winter -Spiti Valley Tour Package!
Spiti refers to ‘the midway country’ between Tibet and India. Its landscape and temperature might be intimidating, but stick to us & get the best memorable experience.

BEST TIME TO VISIT:

Spiti Valley is known for its severe climate. The valley is buried with snow throughout the winter seasons of December to March. During these times of year, snowfall is possible at any moment, and temperatures may plummet below -20 degrees C. As summer approaches, the valley itself begins to stir. Temperatures are pleasant in April and May as some flora begins to blossom.

While Spiti Valley can be visited almost all year, the ‘best season’ spans from June until early October. Spiti receives constant drizzle and precipitation while being in a rain shadow zone throughout June and July. As a result, the roads may become more challenging. But in August, the valley is filled with fall colors!

The clear colors of the lakes and rivers, the vibrant orange tones of the trees, & the mountains covered in snow in the distance are all breathtaking. It should be noted that the weather may be rather cool during this time, with temperatures fluctuating between 3 to 5 degrees Celsius at midnight and early in the morning.
